Be A Light to your World

Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid

The beginning of realizing who you are in God is when you hear what God says concerning you. Every time you hear what God says about you, it empowers you to become all He has said. Today, God says, “Ye are the light of the world”. It means you are divinely wired to illuminate brightness and eliminate darkness.

Beloved , to truly reflect your making as the light of the world you must place value on the light that comes from God’s word. In Psalm 119:105, the bible says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”. The word of God is a lamp to light the path ahead of you. It keeps you from stumbling, making costly mistakes, steady, focusing on divine direction and living a life of uncertainty and chance.

Psalm 119:130 says; “The entrance of thy word giveth light: it giveth understanding to the simple”. The word of God has divine components that unfold God’s plan for your life. That is why the Psalmist cried out in Psalm 119:132 saying; “Guide me with your laws(word) so that I will not be overcome by evil” (TLB).

Child of God, you can also realize and activate the light of divine intervention . in Esther 8:16, “The Jews had light” and Mordecai became great in the king’s house so that his fame spread throughout all countries. God’s people enjoyed victory over their enemies and became untouchable.

You cannot radiate light and be ignored in your generation. The light you secure will give you direction and guidance. It will reveal your potential and possibilities. It will bring you distinction and uniqueness. It will aid your security and visibility. You can’t shine as light to your world and not attract attention and recognition.



Prayer: Father God, make me a carrier of light my world needs. Let me be in command of life in Jesus name...
