Maintain Your Fire
Leviticus 6:13The fire shell ever be burning upon the alter; it shall never go out
Beloved, it is not enough to receive fire from god, you must fight to keep the fire burning. Fire has the tendency to burn out if it is not refueled. God is excited when He sees his children able to maintain the fire He gave to them. Ability to maintain your fire is a major secret to standing out in destiny.
In Leviticus 6:12, the bible says “And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out....” child of God not a suggestion. Any man who cannot maintain his fire has signed for a life of affliction, torment and lack of answers. Your answer to prayers is directly proportional to the level of fire you are able to maintain. Receive grace to keep your fire burning in Jesus name.
Let’s look at some ways we can maintain our fire in God:
- Be a person of much prayer: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high God shall abide under the shadow of the almighty” (Psalm 91:1). Every man who is a fire carrier is a continuous dweller in God’s presence.
- Saturate yourself with God’s word: “Is not my word like as a fire? Saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29). The word of God is one of his fire generating materials. The more word you take in, the more fire you generate.
- Stay in the company of fellow fire brands: “And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night....” (Isaiah 4:5). The atmosphere of fellowship is the atmosphere of fire.
- Speak mush in tongues: “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” (Jude 1:20). The more you speak in tongues, the more fire you build up.
Friend, continuous shining in destiny can only be secured by being able to maintain your fire. Receive grace today to keep your fire burning.
Prayer: Father , I receive grace to maintain my fire and keep it from burning out in Jesus name.
