Refuse To Be Small
Job: 8:7Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.
Smallness in life is not the plan and purpose of God for His children. Today’s text says, “Though thy beginning was small”. God’s plan and purpose is for you to greatly increase in your latter end.
Psalm 92:12 says; “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon”.
Beloved, smallness limits capacity for impact and exploits. In 1samuel 9:16, God spoke to Samuel concerning Saul saying; “thou shalt anoint him to be captian over my people Israel”, but Saul was bound by the spirit of smallness. He said in verse 21; “Am not I a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel and my family, the least of all the families of the tribe of benjamin ? where therefore then speakest thou to me?”. But Samuel who had heard from God brought him and his servants into the feast and placed them at the head of the table, honouring them above others. By Samuel’s instruction Saul was served the choices portion of meat that had been set aside for the guest of honour.
Child of God, being small is living less than God’s original plan for your life. It is being limited in size, rise, scope and dimension. It is weakness in strength and influence. You can escape every trap of smallness. Repent and renew your relationship with God; remove all weight and obstacles to God;s blessing from your life. Receive God’s word continually. Release yourself to serve God. God wants to increase you; refuse to be small.
Prayer: Lord, deliver me from every trap of smallness. I break free today in Jesus name...
Amen !!!
