The Key of Expectation

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

To experience the flow of miracles, you must come to God’s presence with expectation. The only thing God has to give you is what you are expecting. If you don’t expect anything, God has nothing to give to you.

Your expectation determines your possession. If you must get it tomorrow, you must expect it today. Your expectation is not a probability when it is rooted in God. It is a certainty.

Faith is expecting God to do what He says He will do. “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off” (Proverbs 23:18).

Certain things that will help your expectation:

- Testimonies of the past performances of God: They help you know what to expect from God. The testimonies of today are the stepping stones to the victories of tomorrow. “the Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hands of this philistine”.(1 Samuel 17:37)

- Knowledge of the ability of God: “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20).

- A revelation of the faithfulness of God: Our confidence and expectation in God grows as we know more of His Faithful nature. He did not fail others and will not fail you.



Prayer : Lord, my eyes are upon You. I call forth my expectations now in Jesus name..
