Believe Without Seeing

John 20:29 (The Message Bible)
Jesus said, “so, you believe because you’ve seen with your own eyes. Even better blessings are in store for those who believe without seeing. “

Unconditional faith in God is what pleases Him. When all our arguments and hard questions are settle on the integrity of His unchanging word, He pleased. If God says it, then that settles it. God cannot lie.

The carnal man depends on his physical senses. He says; “if it is really in existence, why can’t I see it? Let me see it, and then I will know it is in existence”. Unknown to that man, his physical senses are subjected to and limited by natural laws and forces.

But God is calling you, child of God, to a higher life, the life of the spirit. This life is beyond the limitations of the five senses. May you begin to believe without seeing.

Thomas heard Jesus say he will rise again. He did not need to see Jesus to believe He has risen from the dead. He should have been satisfied that Jesus cannot change or lie.

In the natural, seeing it makes us believe it. But in the spiritual, finding a word from God on it makes us believe it; and believing it makes us see it. Therefore you do not need to see money before believing that you are blessed and rich. You do not need to see the job to know that your carrier is blessed.

The only evidence faith requires is a word from God. Great blessings belong to those who believe without seeing.
