Tuesday: Sweet Time With Jesus

God Can Change Your Position

1 Samuel 9:21-22
“….Am I not a Benjamite from the smallest of Israel’s tribes, and is not my family clan the smallest….the Samuel brought Saul…into the room and gave them a place at the hed of those who had been invited”

Beloved, God is a God that gives people change of position and one of the ways God blesses people is by a change of position. Until your position in life is changed, your impact in life will be limited. As long as Joseph remained a slave, he could not achieve much. When God changed his position to that of a Prince, he became a lifeline to his family members and community.

In 1 Samuel 2:8, the bible says “He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. "For the foundations of the earth are the LORD's; on them he has set the world". This implies that the power systems and structure of the earth belongs to God and He can change anyone’s position anytime. It means that your change of position is not dependent on the number of people you are connected to but on God.

In our text today, Saul did not lobby for the position he was given. God personally selected him for a change of position. Others arrived there before him but when he came, he took his place “…at the head of those who had been invited” (1 Samuel 9:22). May God change your position today in Jesus name. Beloved, have faith in God’s ability to change your position. He has demonstrated it by practice. He took poor Abraham and turned him into a multimillionaire and a generational blessing carrier. He took David, a shepherd boy from the desert and turned him into one of the greatest kings Israel ever had. He took Esther, an orphan slave girl and made her a queen in the same land where she was known as a slave.

When God wants to change a man’s position, no power can stop him. Receive your change of position now, in Jesus name.

Prayer : Lord, by Your word today, I receive a change of position now, in Jesus name.
