Lord, Change My Position

1 Samuel 9:22
"And Samuel took Saul and his servant, and brought them into the parlour, and made them sit in the chiefest place among them that were bidden, which were about thirty persons"

The summary outcome of the story of Saul and Samuel was a divine intervention for a change of position. Saul was born into a family where the enemy had vowed that no one will amount to anything great in life. He lived a life of suffering and aimless wandering. But while he was still wandering his position of honour was there waiting for him.

Saul happened to fine himself in stagnation and frustration despite gifting and potentials; struggling but never rising; and searching but never finding. These conditions kept him in a wrong position in life.

Friend these situations describe what some people are still facing today. I decree by the finger of God today, every spell of limitation holding you down is broken in Jesus name. no matter where you are today or what you have been through in life. Do not surrender God’s vision for your life and settle where the negative forces and circumstances of life has kept you. It takes a change of mind to experience a change of life.

Reasons you must not settle at the low places in life:

- Every attack of stagnation and resistance is the attack of the enemy to limit you. God never plans stagnation for his children, only the devil does so. Know this and resist that devil today.


- God always has something better for his people. Blessing are in levels. No matter how blessed you are now, there is still a better level of blessing for you. Perceive it, claim it and go for it. You are unstoppable in Jesus name.


- God has lifted others and he can and will lift you also. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. What he did for Jacob, Joseph, David, Daniel, Esther and Mordecai, he can do for another. I declare, you are next in line in Jesus name.

Beloved, don’t summarize your condition with a sigh of hopelessness. Arise, take hold on the promises of God and demand for a change of position.


Prayer: Lord, Every wicked conspiracy to keep me at the low places in life, I rebel, scatter by fire in the name of Jesus...
