Gunmen abduct newspaper distributor in Ogun
A four-man gang of kidnappers has abducted a major newspaper distributor, Mrs Funlayo Ajayi, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Protesters storm INEC office, demand election postponement
A group of Nigerian youths not favourably disposed to going ahead with this month’s general elections,due to the inability of many registered voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards,PVCs, protested to the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, yesterday,to demand postponment.
The group, under the aegis of Forum for Democratic Change,FDC, led by its National coordinator, Solomon Chuks, said going ahead with the election this month,will disenfranchise Nigerians.
Chucks,who presented the group’s protest letter to the INEC chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, insisted that going ahead with the polls will deny many Nigerians their constitutional rights to choose their preferred leaders through ballot.

Some electricity consumers in Agbado Oke-Odo Local Community Development Area (LCDA), Lagos, on Monday demanded installation of prepaid meters in the area from the Ikeja Electric (IE) or be disconnected from the national grid.
They told newsmen that they could no longer continue to pay “crazy bills.”
Mr Adebayo Alaye, the Chairman, Community Development Committee (CDC) of the area said that their ultimatum followed the failure of IE management to meet their demands, after series of meetings on the prepaid meter issue. “We have met them several times, but they kept promising us that they will bring it.
“They promised to install prepaid meters last November, when it was November, they went on air that by December they will meter all communities within their zone. “This is February, we do not have the meters.
They told newsmen that they could no longer continue to pay “crazy bills.”

Horror: Woman Vomits Live Snake During Deliverance
There was a miraculous experience yesterday at the Sons Manifestation Ministries, located at Magami area of Jalingo, when a 32-year-old woman, Mrs Grace Benjamin vomited a live python snake and other items during deliverance in the church.
Mrs Grace Benjamin who hails from Edo State confessed after her deliverance, told the church congregation that she has been a member of the marine kingdom for over 15 years.

Rivers Court on fire
The Rivers State High Court at Degema, Degema Local Government Area, was engulfed by fire in the early hours of today.
Eyewitnesses said the fire started at about 4.00 am, but the cause of the inferno could not be ascertained.
Almost all parts of the building were destroyed in the fire, which started barely 48 hours after the directive from the JUSUN to judiciary workers to resume duties.
Fire fighters are yet to get to the scene at the time of this report.

Buhari threatens to drag NTA, AIT to court over hate broadcasts
The Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari (ret), has threatened to take legal action against the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, and the African Independent Television, AIT, for airing hate broadcasts against his personality.
This came on a day the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, warned all broadcasting stations operating in the country to adhere strictly to the provisions of the broadcasting code or risk sanctions.

The Revelation of the Secret Place

The Revelation that raised Elijah above others in life was the revelation of the secret place.
